JITTERBUGGING pupils narrowly missed out on a world record after taking a break from their lessons to join in a mass dance.
Schools across the country joined together last week to try and smash the record for most students dancing at the same time.
And here in 1066 Country Filsham Valley was among the schools who rose to the challenge.
Sadly, the attempt fell a few dancers short, so the school is getting ready to go again when organisers set up a repeat performance later this year.
The event marked 555 days until next year’s London Olympics and was held to raise awareness of cuts to school sports funding.
