General Election readers' polls

With the General Election almost upon us, the Observer will be asking its readers what they think in the run-up to the big day.

Locals will be asked to vote on a range of General Election topics to see just what you are thinking and, more importantly, who you will be backing.

With all three main parties optimistic of victory on May 6, this promises to be the most hotly contested election since 1997.

So to help you get into the habit of voting - take a minute to tick a box on our latest vote.
