A FATHER and daughter are teaming up to raise money for charity Help for Heroes by taking part in the Heroes Ride into London.
Cliff Morris, will set off from his home in Ledsham Park, St Leonards, on Sunday (June 2) and be joined by his daughter Chloe at Pevensey Bay, where she lives.
From there they will cycle to Blackheath, where they will meet with around 1,400 cyclists from all over the country and ride into central London, finishing at Horse Guards Parade via a formation ride along The Mall.
Neither Cliff nor Chloe are experienced cyclists, and their bikes are also not new by any stretch of the imagination, which will add to the challenge.
Cliff’s is from a car boot sale, while Chloe’s is from a charity shop.
Cliff said: “What would spur us on in our challenge is if we could achieve our target of raising £1,000 for Help for Heroes assisting them in the wonderful work they do for our injured service men and women.”
