TICKETS for the annual Front Row Fashion Show on Saturday, November 12 were in such demand that people had to be turned away at the door.

The theme was Hollywood glamour, and this was provided by both the models and the guests.

After an opening performance of the classic Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend, from singer Helen Sharpe, 10 designers showcased the clothes and accessories they had created using re-worked, recycled and vintage materials.

The show included garments inspired by themes such including James Bond, and Marilyn’s Got My Brain, and a collection of red carpet gowns from one of last year’s Charity Shop Challenge winners, Daisy West.

Models were dressed in charity shop clothes provided by the St. Michael’s Hospice Queens Road shop.
