STREET dance duo Twist and Pulse, Britain’s Got Talent runners-up, is coming to town to lead a workshop for young people.
The workshop will form part of a weekend dance camp run by TTA (This Time Around) Dance School, on May 30 and 31.
Twist and Pulse will be teaching the youngsters ‘streetomedy’, a style of dance made famous by the duo, which makes the audience laugh by adding comical moves to the street dance.
Twist and Pulse will also be taking time to answer questions, and everyone at the dance camp, taking place at Freedom Leisure, Helenswood, will have the opportunity to meet them, get their autographs and have a photo taken.
They rose to fame after reaching the final stages of talent competition Britain’s Got Talent in 2010.
On day one of the camp, participants will be working in small groups to make street dance crews, battling against each other.
Tom and Terry of TTA will also lead a Moonwalk Mayhem workshop, revealing the technique behind Michael Jackson’s signature move.
The cost of the dance camp is £45 and places are limited. To sign up, or for more information call 07590 384112 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
