Combe Valley Countryside Park, Hastings, is launching a new Discovery Centre this Easter weekend.

The amazing new Discovery Centre is constructed from recycled shipping containers. Everyone is invited to along to see the development of both the Discovery Centre and Community Café. Groundwork South, an environmental regeneration charity (which is supporting the Combe Valley Countryside Park Community Interest Company in developing Combe Valley Countryside Park) together with Active Hastings will run several fun and community activities throughout the Easter holidays.

Families are also invited to join in the fun and games on Tuesday, March 29 from 10am. Whilst kids play, parents can enjoy the new café or take a picnic.

On April 4 there’s a community plant day. Help fill planters outside the café to prepare it for spring. Donations of compost and plants for the café are appreciated. To join in, take spades, forks and gloves if you have them. Kids’ activities will run alongside the planting. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
