Robbers threatened man at knife-point for a mobile phone

A MAN was threatened at knife-point by robbers who demanded his mobile phone.

The 24-year-old from St Leonards was walking along Cambridge Road when the trio of robbers struck.

He handed over his phone and was not harmed.

The assailant who brandished the knife is a black man, about 5ft 8ins tall, of stocky build, and he wore dark clothes and a baseball cap. The other two men are white, both in their twenties, and were also wearing dark clothes at the time.

Police are seeking witnesses to the robbery.
