AROUND £700 worth of cannabis was seized by police in a series of raids.
Officers found small bags of the drug at three separate addresses in town last Tuesday (May 10).
The raids were a result of eagle-eyed residents who thought they saw drug dealing in Solle Mews, School Road in Ore.
Police then came and detained three men at a house in the same street at around 1.30pm.
Officers searched the home and found a quantity of cannabis in separate ‘deals’ ready to be sold on and one of the men admitted that the drugs were his.
The other two had their homes searched by police and small bags of cannabis leaves were found.
In all, police seized around £700 worth of the class B drug as a result of the searches.
All three men were cautioned by police and later released.
PC Duncan Cleverley, of Hastings Police, said: “These arrests and cautions came about as a direct result of calls from the public, and our thanks goes out to them.
“Hastings Police would encourage anyone with suspicions about drug related activity in their neighbourhood to do the same and let us know about it.”
Callers can contact Hastings Police on 0845 60 70 999 with any information on drug activity.
