A MAN was treated in hospital after being attacked by two men in Marina, St Leonards.

Police have this week launched an appeal for witnesses and information regarding the incident, which took place around 5.25pm on Thursday, March 29.

Officers were called to the scene after the victim, a 35-year-old local man, called police to say he had been attacked.

The man received serious cuts to his arm which required hospital treatment.

Further enquiries revealed that the two offenders had got into a taxi, and this had subsequently been attacked by the original victim, causing damage to a window.
