Police officers are appealing for information after a boy from St Leonards went missing from a school fair in Woodingdean, Brighton, on Saturday (July 11).

Reece Pateman, 14, was last seen in Warren Road at 1.45pm.

Reece has gone missing before and has a fascination with buses and trains.

PC Rebecca King said: “Reece has previously been found at railway stations in Sussex and as far afield as London and we are making enquiries with bus and rail companies and British Transport Police as part of our search.

“We are concerned for him because he is autistic and his age.”

Reece is described as 5ft 3in, of large build, with ginger hair, blue eyes, a fair complexion and was wearing a red hooded top, turquoise checked shirt, navy blue combat trousers and navy blue trainers.

Anyone who has seen Reece or knows where he may have gone is asked to contact police via 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 1029 of 11/07 or if it is an emergency call 999.
