Police appeal after Hastings fight

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fight broke out between the occupants of two cars in Hastings on Friday (September 11).

A black Mercedes had its windows smashed by two white men aged between 20 and 25 years on St Mary’s Road at around 3.30pm.

One was carrying a metal bar and was described as very pale, with dark hair, sideburns to mid ear and was wearing a nylon tracksuit top.

The driver of the Mercedes was a black male who drove off turning right onto Mount Pleasant Road.

The two white men then got into a bright blue car with two exhausts and drove off.

Inspector Daniel Russell said: “Although no serious injuries resulted from this incident, we are appealing for any witnesses to help us with our investigation.

“If you witnessed this happen or have any information do get into contact with us by emailing 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or ring 101 quoting serial 0993 of 11/09.”
