THE man accused of murdering teenager Jacob Woudstra, pleaded not guilty when he appeared at Lewes Crown Court.
Adam Skilton, 43, from Bexhill, was charged with murder and peverting the course of justice after the 17-year-old was stabbed in the chest.
The attack took place outside the Shah pub, yards from his home in Mount Pleasant Road, on April 5.
Skilton denied both charges when he appeared in court on Wednesday (June 27).
A trial date has been set of September 17.
A second man, Wesley Long, 34, of High Street, Hastings, pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice.
He is due to be sentenced on July 20.
