A loud bang was heard as the bomb disposal team attended a suspicious package in Hastings today (Friday, December 11).

The army experts were called in to inspect the package left in McDonalds by a man who was later arrested.

Police have cordoned off Wellington Square and evacuated everybody from the scene.
