Car window smashed by baseball bat in St Leonards

A car window was smashed in St Leonards by a man wielding a baseball bat as the driver stopped at traffic lights.

The Vauxhall Corsa was stopped at the lights on Blackman Avenue at the junction with Marline Road at about 10am on Friday, August 28.

The driver’s side window was smashed but no one was hurt.

Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 540 of 28/08.

Alternatively, they can call the independent charity Crimestoppers without having to leave their name on 0800 555 111.
