Burglar confronted by home owner

A BRAVE woman confronted a burglar while he tried to break in through the bathroom at her home.

She heard noises and discovered the man climbing in through the window at the house in Braybrooke Road at 1.15pm on Sunday.

The woman shouted at him angrily to leave which he did. There was a second man outside and nothing was stolen.

Police said the first suspect was white, aged 15 to 16, of skinny build and with light coloured shaved hair.

He wore dark grey long sleeved hooded top with blue stripes on the sleeves and dark grey bottoms.

The second suspect was also white, aged 24 to 25, 5ft 8ins tall, of average build, with short shaved black hair and stubble. He was wearing a grey top.

Sergeant Jason Tuck, who is investigating, said: “We are seeking anyone who has information and may have seen anything suspicious to get into contact with us. The home owner acted bravely and did the right thing by reporting this. Help us to find this pair and stamp out their criminal activity.”
