A BANNED motorist was caught drink driving by police in St Leonards.
Miroslaw Swedrowski, 35, of no fixed address, aroused suspicion from police as they thought the van was being driven erratically.
He failed a roadside breath test after he was pulled over last Thursday (December 9) at around 11.50pm.
Police discovered that Swedrowski was already disqualified from driving having been found guilty of a previous charge of drink driving two months ago.
He also had no driving licence and no insurance.
The Pole appeared before Hastings magistrates on Friday and pleaded guilty to drink driving, driving while disqualified, having no insurance and no driving licence.
Swedrowski received a 12-week suspended prison sentence from magistrates..
They banned him from driving for a further three years and imposed a three-week curfew order on him.
He was also ordered to pay £50 court costs.
