The mayor, Cllr Judy Rogers, will lead a civic party from the town hall (community contact centre) to Queens Square, leaving just before 3pm. Colleagues who are able to do so are invited to join in.

The council has also been flying the flag at half mast outside its offices, as a mark of respect to those who lost their lives in the incident last night (Monday, May 22).
