STAFF at a Conquest hospital ward have won an award in this year’s Proud to Care Nursing Awards.
The team from MacDonald ward were presented with the Team Commitment Award for helping patients with dementia.
Nurses at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, which runs the Conquest and Eastbourne DGH, won five Proud to Care Nursing Awards at a recent presentation evening at the Amex Stadium in Brighton.
Darren Grayson, chief executive, said: “Congratulations and well done to all the award winners and shortlisted staff who exemplify the excellent work that goes on in this organisation every day of the year. They make a real difference to patient care and the way we work.”
