CHILDREN, choirs and musicians are holding a 12-hour concert in aid of St Michael’s Hospice tomorrow (Saturday).
The concert will begin early in the day with pupils who have been sponsored for their usual music classes.
The children will then be followed by the choirs, who are performing at St John’s Church in Brittany Road, St Leonards, and continue for the remainder of the 12-hour stretch. The choir members too have raised sponsorship for taking part.
The concert is free to anyone who wishes to attend but organisers ask for a donation to the hospice and programmes are available at 50p. Attendees are welcome to drop in and out throughout the day in order to catch their favourite performers.
The choirs begin their performances at noon and continue through to 8.30pm when most of the choirs taking part during the day will return for a massed Messiah, finishing at 9.30pm. For details of the event ring Marcia Dart on 01424 456381 or email email@example.com.
