POLICE are concerned for the welfare of missing 13-year-old Jordan Cooper.

The teenager is from Hastings and was last seen on Friday, August 28 after she went away with a family member to Bognor Regis, according to police.

She was reported missing on Monday, September 7, after failing to return the previous day, police said.

Missing persons co-ordinator Shannon Marchesani of Sussex Police said: “We believe that she could still be with a family member and people known to her in either Bognor Regis, Newquay, Devon or on the Isle of Wight.

“Please can anyone with information about where she is to contact us as soon as possible.

“We are worried about Jordan because of her age and because this is out of character.

“She is also missing the start of the school year.”

Jordan is described as white, 5ft tall and of slim build with straight brown shoulder-length hair.

It is not known what she was last seen wearing but she usually dresses casually in jeans, leggings or jogging bottoms.

If you see Jordan or have any information about her whereabouts email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting Sussex Police serial 579 of 07/09.

Police have advised that if she is in danger or in need of urgent medical attention please call 999 immediately.
