A FOOTBALL coach joined England and Chelsea centre back Gary Cahill in a football session at Wembley Stadium.

Ken Dullaway, the council’s StreetGames co-ordinator, helped run the event for a group of competition winners.

The FA and Mars-run Just Play competition offered winners the chance to train and play with Cahill, and ex-pros John Barnes and Graham Le Saux. Ken said: “The winners had a great time and Gary, Graham and John were good fun to be around and very down-to-earth.” The two Just Play sessions are on a Tuesday evening for men from 6pm to 7pm in Alexandra Park. The female session starts on Friday (October 5) at Summerfields, from 6pm to 7pm. Anyone interested can ring Ken on 01424 451109.

Last year, Mr Dullaway won an award for his tireless work helping youngsters in Hastings. He won Arrow FM’s Making a Community Difference for his contribution to StreetGames and his commitment in helping young people access sport.
