A CLEAN-UP day is to take place at the Firs pitch in preparation for the Spring season and all are welcome to join in.
The Firs was brought back into use last Autumn, after languishing in a state of disrepair in the years since St Leonards Football Club went bust.
The day of action has been organised by local ward councillors, Cllrs Mike Turner and Warren Davies, and Cllr Andrew Batsford, and will be led by the council’s park rangers on Sunday, February 3 from 9.30am to 3pm.
Everyone is welcome to come and join in on the day, and all tools will be provided.
Volunteers are advised to wear suitable clothing and footwear for the occasion.
For more information about this event and to book the new pitch, which is available for supervised use only, or the astro turf multi use games area (MUGA) contact Aaron Woods on 01424 451334 or email@example.com.
