St Michael’s Hospice Santa Fun Run promises to be bigger and better than ever, after its recent revamp and relocation from Alexandra Park to Hastings Sea Front, and renamed Christmas on the Coast.

The event, which takes place on Saturday December 12, at the Stade Hall, Hastings seafront, 10-4pm, offers a huge selection of Christmas fun for all the family.

The day kicks off with the Santa Fun Run, followed by, for all Pram Race lovers, Santa’s Wacky Sleigh Race.

Back at Stade Hall free family entertainment will be on offer along with Santa’s Christmas Craft Workshops. Children will have the chance to meet Santa himself and Frozen’s very own Elsa.

Open to all ages, Santa Fun Run participants can choose either a 2.5k or 5k run and are encouraged to don Santa suits or Christmas inspired costumes. Alternatively put creative skills to the test and create a Christmas Sleigh for the 2.5k Santa’s Wacky Sleigh Race, with fun challenges along the route.

Free children’s activities at Stade Hall from 11am. Children will have the chance to choose and wrap presents for their parents, make reindeer food, decorate gingerbread and dress up and pose for family photos (grown-ups included!) in a snow scene.

Stalls and refreshments will also be available.

Entry is free, donations are encouraged. All proceeds go towards providing specialist palliative care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families across Hastings and Rother.
