Police officers have today (August 21) released this CCTV image of two men wanted in connection with a burglary in St Leonards.

The burglary took place at a flat in The Lawns, St Leonards, on Saturday, June 27.

CCTV images show four suspects walking around the local area before entering the flat between 2pm and 4pm.

Fifteen thousand Euros and two Pioneer music decks, worth around £2,000, were stolen.

Detective Constable Darren Jones said: “We would like to speak to anyone who has any information about the burglary and the identity of these suspects.”

Sussex Police has launched Operation Magpie to tackle burglary across Sussex.

Any witness or anyone with information about the incident or identity of the suspects is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting serial 1146 of 27/06.

Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Two men have already been arrested in connection with the burglary.

A 29-year-old man from Eastbourne was arrested on suspicion of burglary.

He has been questioned and released on bail until Monday, September 21.

A 20-year-old man from St Leonards was arrested on suspicion of burglary.

He has been questioned and released on bail until Monday, September 21.
