Cat may have been dropped out of window

THUGS may have dropped a cat out of a window during a party in St Leonards leaving it with horrific injuries.

The pet was found by its owner in Albany Road semi-conscious with a broken jaw.

Police are invetigating the possibility the cat was thrown from a height after a vet believed the injuries were not caused by a vehicle or another animal.

The cat is now recovering from its injuries.

James Glover, spoksman for Sussex Police, said: “The vet believes that the injuries were not caused by a vehicle or another animal but in a malicious attack.

“There was a party at an address in Albany Road on the night the cat was injured and one of the guests or one of the neighbours in the area may have seen what happened.”
