Can you help form council’s disability grants policy?

A COUNCIL is looking for a young disabled person to join a committee which helps decide where to allocate grants.

East Sussex County Council is on the look-out for teenagers who would be interested in joining its YouthBank scheme - a project which has already given out £50,000 in grants.

The cash comes from a Government funded programme which pays for short breaks and support for disabled youngsters. But in order to make the right decisions about where the money goes, the council is looking for young people with disabilities to help.
