BURGLARS looted a house while the owners were away helping themselves to thousands of pounds of electrical equipment and jewellery.
The break-in happened at a house in Denehurst Gardens, Hastings, sometime between 12.45pm on Monday 3 and 11am on Thursday 6 September.
The intruders entered through a back window at the property.
Electrical items stolen included:
A 32” flat screen TV, 28” Samsung TV with built in DVD player, XBox 360, XBox Kinect, 30 XBox games, 6 XBox Kinect games, 90 various DVDs, 350 CDs, a CD player, two Toshiba laptops and charger, a HP Envy Laptop (beats edition) with charger and leather case, a second generation iPod and charger, a LG Cookie mobile phone, an Acer Notebook (black) with zipped case, a Nokia mobile phone, a Blackberry Curve 9320 mobile phone, a Blu Ray player and nine Blu Ray discs.
Jewellery items stolen included:
Stolen jewellery includes a sterling silver fob watch with chain engraved ‘DGK’, full hunter (Dalvey) pocket watch with chain, 9ct gold Rotary watch, DG watch with diamond chips around the face and various other necklaces, earrings and bangles.
Detective sergeant Jason Tuck from East Sussex CID said: “Thousands of pounds of electrical equipment along with valuable items of jewellery have been stolen and the victims are understandably very upset.
“Please get in touch if you witnessed or heard any suspicious activity at the address or you’ve been offered any of the items for sale but were wary of their origin. Call 101 quoting serial 0049 of 7/9 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
