BURGLARS broke into a house and stole a BMW car and valuables including a white gold wedding band worth £2,000.
The burglary happened at a property in Dunclutha Road sometime between 10pm on Tuesday May 21 and 5.10am on May 22.
They took a distinctive Zeiss watch with a white surround and black and chrome strap valued around £500, a white gold wedding band approximately £2000 along with two iPhones and a wallet. They then helped themselves to the householder’s dark grey BMW which was found burnt out in Mill Lane, Hastings by police officers at 5.12am on May 22.
Sergeant Jason Tuck from the Priority Crime Team, said: “The items that were stolen were not only of high material value but also sentimental to the owners. I would remind people to be suspicious of anyone who may attempt to sell you either the jewellery or phones.
“If you have any information that could help police with the burglary, then call 101 quoting serial 156 of 22/5 or alternatively leave an anonymous message with the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
