Boy's nose broken in skate park attack

Two boys were attacked by a group of teenagers during an incident at a skate park in St Leonards.

The pair, aged 14 and 15, were meeting a friend at the skate park in Falaise Road when they were attacked by some other teenage boys who were in a group.

The 14-year-old was left with a broken nose and the other boy sustained facial bruising.

The incident happened at 5.30pm on Thursday May 4, but Sussex Police has only just released details of the incident.

Investigator Lucy Marshall from Sussex Police said: “The boy who sustained the broken nose has been left traumatised by this event.

“There were other people present, including two women who kindly assisted the boys with their injuries.

“We are asking those people, or anyone else who saw what happened, to contact us is via [email protected], quoting serial 1185 of 04/05.”
