At their recent monthly meeting, the Battle & District Probus Club welcomed another new member Ray James. The picture shows Ray being presented with his Probus tie by Club Chairman Ron Harris. Ray becomes the 51st member of the club.

At the meeting members were entertained to a talk by Malcolm Tegg, one of their members, who described his singing journey from junior school in Berkshire, to Eton College Choir School, and so on to being a member of the choir which sang in Westminster Abbey at the Queen’s Coronation. Malcolm had many additional choral experiences, and now, still with a sonorous voice, is an active member of the Sedlescombe Amateur Dramatic Group.
