HOMEGROWN band The Kid Kapichi has been invited to support Skunk Anansie in Nottingham, after impressing the rock stars on Fat Tuesday.

The Kid Kapichi supported Skunk Anansie on February 12, and met the band after the final gig at The Carlisle.

Guitarist and singer Jack Wilson said that he had this week received an email from bass player Cass, asking if The Kid Kapichi would be interested in supporting the band again, but this time at Nottingham’s 2,000 capacity venue, Rock City, on March 16.

He said: “We’re really excited. We have been together for around two years but things have really been kicking off in the last four or five months.

“This will be our biggest gig so far, and to have everyone in Hastings behind us is great.”

The Kid Kapichi is Jack Wilson (vocals, guitar), Ben Beetham (vocals, guitar), George MacDonald (drums) and Harrison Caruana (bass).
