SCORES of youngsters took part in a whole array of exciting activities at an all-day event at The Bridge Community Centre in Ore.
The event was to celebrate Black History Month and multi-culturalism.
Children took part in music workshops, mask making and lantern making.
Storyteller Ed Boxall also came along and entertained the youngsters.
They also made a unity wreath by drawing around their hands and filling the outlines with henna-type designs.
Children had their faces painted with traditional African tribal patterns.
The Youth Development Service came and organised pumpkin carving, t-shirt designing, as well as a music workshop.
Sam Sankey, community development worker for The Bridge Community Centre, said: “It was a fantastic day, with up to 100 children and young people coming through the doors. it was very busy all day.”
