Police are appealing for witnesses to an attempted burglary in Hastings.

At about 10.45am on Friday (February 19), a man is reported to have forced the front door of a property in All Saints Street.

But he was disturbed by the occupant and fled the scene empty handed.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, about 5’8”, of slim to medium build with short dark hair.

He may have been wearing a blue shirt and jeans at the time of the incident.

Witnesses are asked to contact 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 585 of 19/02.
