Alcoholics Anonymous to host public seminar about its work

Hastings and Rother Alcoholics Anonymous is holding a public seminar on September 24 at the White Rock Theatre.

The seminar is to discuss how AA fits into the mutual aid scheme in East Sussex County Council, Hastings emergency services working with AA and how the NHS can benefit from AA’s work.

Weekly AA meetings are as follows: Anyone is welcome at an open meetings and closed meetings are for alcoholics and people with a drinking problem. Mondays: Thrift House, 13 Wellington Place, Hastings, 6.30pm. Open. The Crypt, Christ Church, London Road, St Leonards. 12.30pm. Closed. Tuesdays: Concordia Hall, Church Road, St Leonards. 8pm. Closed. Wednesdays: Friends Meeting House, South Terrace, Hastings. 11am. Open. (Last Wednesday of month - Step Study). Thursdays: Repository Room, Star of the Sea R.C. Church, High Street, Old Town. 10.30am. Closed. The Crypt, Christ Church, London Road, St Leonards. 8pm. Closed. Fridays: Concordia Hall, Church Road, St Leonards 7.45pm Closed. Saturdays: Friends Meeting House, South Terrace, Hastings, noon. Open.
