A FAMILY activity day to celebrate the life and work of iconic conservationist Grey Owl took place at Hastings Museum and Art Gallery on Saturday (September 14).
Grey Owl was born Archie Belaney 125 years ago in Hastings before taking on the Native American persona.
The event included exploration of Summerfields Woods and local wildlife along with crafts and other activities.
There were also screenings of Grey Owl’s original films during the day.
Aiden Molloy from the 4th Hastings Beavers (above) was one of those who took part.
