ST MICHAEL’S Hospice is holding a charity abseil on May 10 from 9am to 5pm at Ocean House, London Road, St Leonards.
Raising funds in aid of the hospice, which provides in-patient and out-reach palliative care to people with life-limiting illnesses across Hastings and Rother, brave Hastings residents will abseil down the office block.
The hospice, based in St Leonards, is calling out for more people to get involved in this exhilarating challenge.
There is a £10 registration fee and the mandatory £100 sponsorship will support St Michael’s Hospice to continue providing specialist care to patients and their families.
Since the hospice opened in 1987, it has provided more than 12,500 people with life-limiting illnesses in the 1066 area and its specialist facilities include 30 hospice beds, a day therapy centre, and bereavement support. Operating for more than 25 years, the hospice aims to deliver exceptional standards of palliative care.
