MEMBERS of Hastings Round Table have donated £1,500 to help local families with children with spina bifida and hydrocephalus.

They handed over a cheque at the monthly support group, run by Sasbah (Sussex Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus). The money was raised through this year’s Hastings Beer and Music Festival. Claire Bryant, Sasbah deputy general manager, said: “Hastings Round Table is looking to provide practical support for these young families, as well as giving Sasbah this very generous donation to help fund family support in this area. We are very grateful to the Round Table for its involvement.”

Sasbah’s support group meets from 11am to 1pm on the first Wednesday of the month. Email claire@sasbah.org.uk.
