Sussex Police are warning that tablets contained in a handbag stolen in Langney Shopping Centre in Eastbourne just after noon today could be very dangerous.
The handbag, stolen from a woman's trolley opposite the rear entrance of Mackays as she loaded up her car around 12.20pm, included Prednisole steroids and Cocodamol painkillers, which police warn could induce a heart attack if taken unprescribed.

As few as four could be fatal if taken by a child.

Anyone who finds the bag or the tablets or who witnessed the theft should contact the police on 0845 60 70 999.
