Eastbourne's affiliated naval ship HMS Puncher will be making a short visit to Eastbourne tomorrow (Saturday).
HMS Puncher will be leaving Brighton at 10am and will be able to be seen arriving at the Sovereign Harbour at approximately 1pm.

Mayor Mary Pooley will board the vessel at Brighton Marina prior to it departing for Eastbourne.

Cllr Pooley said, "I am looking forward to welcoming HMS Puncher back to Eastbourne once again and am pleased to be given the opportunity to join the ship on her journey from Brighton Marina to Sovereign Harbour."

The mayor will be hosting a small buffet reception in the Mayor's Parlour on Saturday evening for the crew of HMS Puncher.

HMS Puncher is a P2000 patrol vessel and is affiliated with the Borough of Eastbourne, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, the Worshipful Company of Bakers, HMS Westminster, HMS Talent, Shiplake College CCF, TS Dundas and Moira House School for Girls.
