Volunteers to help digital switchover

VOLUNTEERS are needed to give up some of their spare time to help disabled and the elderly switch to digital TV.

Digital Switchover, when the signal changes from analogue to digital, is taking place in Hastings in May and televisions will only work if people have the right equipment from the end of May.

CSV is seeking volunteers to help raise awareness of the Switchover Help Scheme in their communities to ensure that no one is left without TV after switchover.

Free training is available on Wednesday (February 15) from 2.15pm to 4.30pm at Hastings Voluntary Action. No previous experience is required, just a willingness to get out and meet people.
