Tributes to David Northen

The sporting community has been shocked by the sudden death of David Northen at 25.

A prominent player with Hastings and Bexhill Rugby Club, David was found dead at his Harrow Lane home on Monday.

He had played in a London League match at Folkestone only two days earlier.

A police spokesman said: "We are treating this as an unexplained sudden death. An inquest will be held to determine the cause of death."

Club spokesman David Hirst said: "We are all reeling from the shock of it. He was well liked by everyone within the club. People said he never had a bad word to say about anyone but I don't think anyone had a bad word to say about him."
