On Friday, February 15 the Hastings and St Leonards RSPB Group will host an illustrated talk entitled Adventures in the Outdoor World by Michael Blencowe.

Michael, who works for the Sussex Wildlife Trust, is an inspiring speaker who will relate how a dusty natural history book from a secondhand bookshop started him on a search for some of Britain’s most elusive wildlife.

In his spare time Michael is a volunteer for Sussex Butterfly conservation and co-produces a monthly podcast on the Natural History of Sussex. The venue is the Taplin Centre, Upper Maze Hill, St Leonards at 7.30pm.

Visitors are welcome for an admission charge of £3 including refreshment.
