OUR Print of the Year proved a super platform for the very best work from members taken during the course of the season.
Ted Sturgeon, a member of the prestigious Arena Photographers group, did the judging. He was both supportive and advisory in reviewing the work of different photographers. He decided that 'Burnby Hall, Yorkshire' by Ron Stewart and 'Reflections' by Alan Harding should be highly commended, whilst he awarded third place to Brian Bailey with 'Bodiam Castle' and second prize to Les Kinch for a view of Hastings beach and pier. First prize went to Paul Campbell for his view of a manikin in a shop window. Paul will receive his trophy at our annual meeting on Tuesday, May 13.

We meet at Baldslow Community Hall, Harrow Lane at 7.30pm. This is our last meeting of the season before we take a break for the summer.

We will keep you posted about our visits arranged for the next few months. Further details available at www.ore-st-helens.co.uk
