Hastings, Bexhill Organ & Keyboard Society - May 9
OUR artist for April was Steve Clarke who was making a return visit to our society having delighted our members on his first visit in February 2007. Steve did not disappoint us. His delightful playing together with his dry Yorkshire humour was well received by a large audience.
The artist for our concert on Thursday, May 29 is Tim Butterworth playing a Yamaha Tyros Two. Tim is making his first visit to us having started to play the organ at the tender age of four, influenced by his "mum and dad" having a home organ and playing themselves. He grew up in Gloucestershire performing his first organ society concert aged 14 and has continued since then to give regular concert performances on both theatre and electronic instruments. Until recently Tim balanced a professional "day job" with his musical career. However in May 2006 Tim relocated to Lancashire and assumed music as his full time career.
Our concerts take place on the last Thursday of the month and are held at The Pebsham CP School, School Place, Hastings Road, Bexhill, at 7.30pm.
