OAP leaves house for first time in five years for festive party

A 90-YEAR-OLD woman who had not left the house for five years made a special effort to visit a Rotary event in Telscombe Cliffs.
An evening of entertainment for elderly people was organised by Newhaven Rotary Club at Tydean Hall.

Around 100 guests emnjoyed a musical presentation by the Highlights dance group from Burgess Hill, followed by a buffet tea provided and prepared by Rotary club members.

The event was sponsored by King and McGaw Ltd, Main Systems Ltd, and the town councils of Newhaven, Peacehaven and Telscombe.
