Ashdown Forest arson attack

A man has been arrested following an arson attack on the Ashdown Forest
Police and firefighters were called to a report of a 'significant' fire in the area of Lintons car park.

Two more fires were later discovered in the area yesterday (Tuesday) lunchtime.

Approximately 50 square metres of forest belonging to East Sussex County Council were damaged.

No one was injured.

A man has since been arrested.
